We are a family-owned and operated private school located in Westchester, FL. We have over 30 years of experience in early childhood development and education for children ranging from six weeks to 10 years of age.
Our presence in the community has enriched the lives of many families and children from infancy through school-age children. At FL Academy we are a progressive institution, and we pride ourselves on the high-quality bilingual curriculum followed by our educators in our enriching and nurturing environment.
Our main focus is to provide an educational experience that allows each and every child the opportunity to develop and grow, socially, physically, cognitively, and emotionally. Which in turn provides our students the tools necessary in their formative years to develop a strong and solid foundation for School Achievement.
Our focus is on providing an enriched quality early learning program that includes a positive environment, providing a variety of activities and materials that are developmentally age-appropriate, and well-trained caring staff members. We partner with our families in educating their most important treasure, their children! We take into account how each child develops and learns.
By providing these ingredients, we aim for our children to grow in all the developmental areas: Social-Emotional, Physical, Cognitive, Literacy, Mathematics, Social Studies, the Arts, Science, and Technology. Our children enter a school that provides excellent social interaction skills, the opportunity to create independence among themselves, explore, problem-solve, and most importantly, be happy children.

Our mission is to provide a high-quality early childhood and after-school education program for all children in our care. We strive to create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment that fosters/caters to individual needs. Our program strives to develop a cohesive relationship between children, parents, and staff members, with mutual respect for one another so that a partnership is formed for the benefit of the child's successful school experience.
We envision a center where all children will achieve academic, emotional, and social success, to prepare them for future learning and to become dynamic motivators.
FL Academy is strongly based on the belief that each child is a unique individual. We focus on offering children a loving, caring, and supportive environment, where the whole child is developed, and a philosophy of respect is instilled for all students, parents, teachers, and staff members. We will provide a developmentally appropriate program that is sensitive to each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical needs.
We provide each child with choices, challenges, and opportunities that nurture feelings of competence and promote growth in all areas of development. Experiences in the classroom encompass language, literacy, math, science, social studies, arts, and technology. As teachers, we observe how children develop and learn, and use that information to be responsive to children’s interests and needs. Teachers must be intentional about what they do each day in their work with children & families.
